Tina Martin originally from North London. From the age of 10 she became interested in sports and fitness, and joined her local athletics team. Acheiving titles such as County  champion in Javelin and cross country and competing twice in the London Mini Marathon. 

She moved to Ireland 15 years ago and is a fully qualified NCEF fitness instructor.

Working in NRG Health and Fitness for over 13 years as a kids class coordinator, gym supervisor and working her way up to club manager.

She helped design and run the very popular weight loss program. 

She has continued to improve her knowledge by attending various fitness courses including Reebok fitness, Pilates, Reebok rebounding, Zumba basic 1+2 and Zumba toning.

Tina went to Tralee with Gymnastics Ireland to qualify for her Gym Start Gymnastics coaching certification.

Since joining the team at Sportlann she has joined the Les Mills Tribe and is qualified to teach Les Mills Grit, Sprint and Bodycombat. Les Mills programmes are scientifically proven to increase everyone’s fitness levels and abilities. 

Teaching fitness classes is her passion and she enjoys helping people with their fitness queries.

She is a mother of two adorable children and understands how hard it is juggling family life and keeping fit and healthy. 



is a high-energy martial arts-inspired workout that is totally non-contact. Punch and kick your way to fitness and burn up to 740 calories in a class. No experience needed. Learn moves from Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, Muay Thai, Capoeira and Kung Fu. 


Cardio is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout that improves cardiovascular fitness, increases speed and maximizes calorie burn. This workout uses a variety of body weight exercises and provides the challenge and intensity you need to get results fast. Expect to burn 500-600 calories. 

is a form of exercise that concentrates on strengthening the core muscles in the body. Using a series of moves and postures, the exercises work the abdominal muscles to help you improve your posture and build strength, and it also helps to increase flexibility. Pilates helps to give you a full-body workout. In our 1 hour class expect  to burn 230 calories.

Strength is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, designed to improve strength, cardiovascular fitness and build lean muscle. This workout uses barbell, weight plate and bodyweight exercises to blast all major muscle groups. Expect to burn 400 calories.

is a 30 minute group exercise workout.  Abs class is designed to engage your core and offer a jumpstart to your workout routine. Most of the moves used in the class are more advanced Pilates moves and usually performed and a much faster pace. Expect to burn 250 calories. 

is a 30-minute High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout, using an indoor bike to achieve fast results. It's a short, intense style of training where the thrill and motivation comes from pushing your physical and mental limits. Expect to burn 450 calories.
